The Colorado College women's cross country team captured the team title at the New Mexico Highlands Cross Country Jam Saturday morning in Las Vegas, N.M.

Theresa Moser of NMHU won the individual title, but he Tigers took the next five spots, led by sophomore
Megan Koch, who finished second by completing the 5K course in a season-best time of 19 minutes, 35 seconds. Freshman
Emily Dwyer was third in 19:38, followed by freshman
Clare Quinn in fourth (19:44), junior
Alexia Preston in fifth (19:45) and senior
Claire Tobin in sixth (19:48).

Colorado College finished with 20 team points. NMHU was second with 44, followed by Oklahoma Panhandle in third with 72.

Coach Ted Castaneda's Comments
"It was an outstanding day for us. We are very proud of how these women have improved. This was the first time we had five runners finish under 20 minutes and our top six finished within 21 seconds, we are very happy with that. This was a good momentum-builder going into October."
