Shreveport - The Centenary men's basketball team defeated the Millsaps College Majors by a score of 72-57 in a non-conference contest on Friday evening inside the Gold Dome.
The Gents (2-7) snapped their five-game losing streak and improved to 2-4 at home. The Majors (2-6) are now 0-3 on the road this season. The teams met for the second time in a matter of weeks as Millsaps defeated centenary 75-63 in Jackson, Miss. on Nov. 23.
The Gents are now 24-9 in their last 33 home games and have won 48 of 59 overall.
Senior G Craig Collier (North Little Rock, Ark.) scored a game-high 20 points to lead the way for the Gents.
