'Roos Hold Off UD for 10th Win

Brittany Stepanski scored 16 points and Erin Riley added 14 as the Austin College women's basketball team defeated the University of Dallas to improve to 10-14 overall on the year.

Brittany Stepanski scored 16 points and Erin Riley added 14 as the Austin College women's basketball team defeated the University of Dallas to improve to 10-14 overall on the year. The 'Roos are also now 4-10 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with the victory.

Austin College led 35-24 at half before the Crusaders tried to come back behind a huge scoring game from Kylie Yoshimura, who finished with 34 points. However, Riley hit 4-of-6 three pointers and Stepanski added seven rebounds and three blocked shots to go along with her team-high 16 points to help the 'Roos to the victory.

Christina Kime added eight points and dished out a season-high nine assists in the win.
