IRVING, Texas -- In a non-conference battle between two SCAC foes, an overtime goal from the University of Dallas was enough to top Texas Lutheran Women's Soccer 1-0 Sunday afternoon.
The lone goal of the match came via an unassisted goal in the 98th minute.
The Bulldogs (1-2-1) managed 11 shots and were able to get three on goal but were never able to get that golden goal.
Freshman Goalkeeper Charleigh Phipps (Dripping Springs/Dripping Springs) finished the afternoon with 7 saves - including 4 in the first half - in 79 minutes of action. Freshman Madison Johnson (Pflugerville/Hendrickson) added 3 more saves.
