Baseball dropped the final two games of its SCAC series with TLU. Despite keeping it close in the early innings of both games, the Celt bullpen struggled to generate consistent outs.

Game 2: UST 2 TLU 8

It was St. Thomas to get on the board first as Leo Galvan had an RBI double to score Mason Seay. However, in the top of the third, Texas Lutheran responded with three runs of their own to make the score 3-1. From there, both teams were quiet until the sixth when St. Thomas finally score another run to cut the deficit to one 3-2. Then the game was scoreless until the top of the ninth, as TLU was able to score six more runs to take an 8-2 lead to the end of the game to secure a game two victory.

Game 3: UST 6 TLU 9

Both teams seemed even in the early parts of the game as the score was locked at 1-1 until the fourth inning. Erik Garza then went yard with a solo shot to break the tie and put the Celts up 2-1. However, the Bulldogs would not go away, as they added a three-run homer of their own to take a 4-2 lead heading into the sixth inning. Then in the sixth, the Celt offense broke out as Garza homered for the second time on the day, and Joseph Sanchez followed it up with the first home run of his career for back-to-back jacks. With the score now 5-4 in favor of St. Thomas, the Celts weren't done yet as Edward Gutierrez had an RBI single to score Jarod Smith for the 6-4 lead. With their backs against the wall, Texas Lutheran had answer, and they did just that scoring five more runs to close out the game. They also shut out the St. Thomas offense for the 9-6 victory.
