THE BASICS
Austin College scored 24 points in the fourth quarter to hand the Eagles a 80-61 setback Saturday in Texas. Austin College held a 38-29 halftime lead and continued its lead for the rest of the game. Kamryn McKinney drilled a three-pointer at the 2:49 mark of the third quarter to pull the Eagles within 49-42. But that would be the closest the Eagles would get in the second half. Carly Grace Dougan scored 14 points to lead the Eagles. She made two three-pointers in the contest.
