Faith Coffin sets a new school record in the fly

Women's Swim & Dive Team Finishes Fifth At SCAC Championships

Garland, Texas-The women's swim and dive team finished fifth at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swim and Dive Championships in Texas.

On Saturday, Brianna Devlin placed fourth in the one-meter dive competition with a score of 393.40. Kelly Arango placed ninth with a score of 253.20. In the 1650 free, Isabel Shelton placed 13th with a time of 21:22.26. Natalie Naramore placed 15th with a time of 21:30.57. In the 200 back, Jessie Wright placed 12th with a time of 2:16.30. In the prelims of the 100 free, Ariana White swam a 1:00.70 and Haley Howard swam a 1:16.55. In the 200 breaststroke, Riley Holcomb posted a time of 2:46.82 for 12th place. Chloe Weathers followed with a time of 2:49.34 for 13th place. Kylee Booher placed 16th with a time of 3:36.65. In the 200 fly, Faith Coffin set a new school record with a time of 2:19.95 for seventh place. Weathers swam a 2:41.37 for 13th place. The Eagles posted a time of 3:54.16 in the 400 free relay. The Eagles also posted a time of 4:17.06 for 14th place in the event. 

The Eagles posted 254 points in the championship event.
