Williams Leads CC at FHSU Tiger Open

The Colorado College women's cross country team finished 11th at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open Saturday morning in Hays, Kan.
 
Freshman Dafna Williams led the Tigers with a 53rd-place finish, covering the 5K course in 19 minutes, 58.6 seconds, followed by juniors Sarah Pokelwaldt in 56th (20:04.9) and Audrey Nelson in 63rd (20:17.5) Freshman Kendall Accetta in 66th (20:32.9) and senior Halle White in 67th (20:34.1) rounded out he scoring for Colorado College.
 
CC finished the meet with 272 team points. Southwest Baptist won the meet with 40 points and Elysia Burgos of SW Baptist won the individual race with a time of 17:23.4.
