'Roo Men Fall to Colorado College
SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision against Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Colorado College on Friday evening, bringing the 'Roos to 1-3 overall on the season.

SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision against Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Colorado College on Friday evening, bringing the 'Roos to 1-3 overall on the season.
The Tigers got on the board early in the opening half, as Kevin Peterson found the back of the net off of a throw-in from Atticus Lynch in the 6th minute of action. The score remained 1-0 heading into halftime, but Colorado College added to its lead just under nine minutes into the second frame. The Tigers drew a penalty kick, and after Connor Tullis saved the initial effort Vincent Luglio scored off of the rebound to make it a 2-0 game.
Austin College got on the board 10 minutes later when Pierce Wear punched in a rebound from an attempt by Louis Catchpole to make it 2-1, but the Tigers tacked on one more goal in the 70th minute off the foot of Alex Meyerhoff to make it a 3-1 final score.
Colorado College held a 21-to-10 shot edge in the game, with Tullis making seven saves in goal for the 'Roos.
