Conway, Ark.-The Austin College women's tennis team topped Ozarks 8-1 Saturday morning in Conway.
Paige Myers defeated Meghan White at No. 3 singles. Myers and Kayla Tucker battled at No. 1 doubles, but came up short, 8-5.
"I'm proud of Kayla and Paige at No. 1 doubles," said head coach Cullen Dees. "Austin College had a good team, and we took them out of their game for the first half of the match. For our two freshmen to do that, it says a lot about the progress they've made so far. We are looking forward to our next match."
Ozarks will host Texas Lutheran March 15.
