GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern out-shot the Mountaineers but couldn't get the one the counted as the Pirates fell 1-0 to Schreiner Tuesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- A furious pace came with the start of the match as both teams knew the implications that accompanied a win. Southwestern was the most dangerous early but it was Schreiner that took the lead as Kelsey Bessent scored in the 15th minute.
- SU took a 1-0 deficit into halftime and were never able to put home the equalizer despite multiple opportunities in front of goal.

The Pirates close the regular season at home on Friday as they play host to Texas Lutheran University (10-4-2, 5-4-2) at 6 pm.
