MacKenzie extended his goal-scoring streak to a career-best three games.
CC finished with a slight edge in total shots (14-12) and corner kicks (5-4).
Hooker finished with five saves for Colorado College, which slipped to 3-1-1 overall and 1-1-0 in the SCAC.
Todd Whittaker stopped six shots for Trinity.
TU improved to 5-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in conference play.
The teams will meet again on Friday, Oct. 7, at CC's Washburn Field.
Colorado College wraps up its two-game trip to the Lone Star State on Sunday at Schreiner University in Kerrville.
