HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles and University of Dallas battled to a 1-1 tie in the Hendrix College Invitational Friday afternoon in Conway. The Eagles remain unbeaten with the tie and will host Austin College September 18 as part of the Invitational. The Crusaders were awarded a penalty kick in the 20^th minute and converted the shot to lead 1-0. The half ended in a 1-0 score. The Eagles played a stronger game in the second half outshooting the Crusaders 7-3. Truman Hensley found the back of the net in the 80^th minute. Neither team would score again. The Eagles outshot the Crusaders 12-9 in the game.
