Shreveport - The Centenary men's soccer team was edged 2-1 by the University of St. Thomas Celts in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Friday evening at Atkins Field.
The Gents (5-3-1, 1-1 SCAC) and Celts (5-3, 1-1 SCAC) were locked in a scoreless battle late in the second half until Daniel Castro scored an unassisted goal in the 81st minute to give UST a 1-0 lead.
