HOW IT HAPPENED

• St. Thomas jumped out to an early 3-0 lead through three innings thanks to a pair of errors and a wild pitch. 
• Trinity pulled to within 3-2 in the top of the fourth on the strength of an RBI single from Abigail Miller. 
• The Celts answered back immediately as Mallarie Munson's two-run single pushed the lead to 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth. 
• A Dawson Dabboussi single to right field cut the St. Thomas lead to 5-3 in the top of the fifth
• From there, St. Thomas added three insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth to provide the winning margin.
