Men's Soccer Dominates Dallas, 5-1

Men's Soccer picked up their fifth conference victory after a dominating performance against Dallas. The Celts would defeat the Crusaders behind Daniel Castro's first career hat-trick.

St. Thomas would open up their scoring affair in the 17th minute with Castro's first goal of the match, assisted by Luis Bencomo. After a Crusader own goal would add onto the Celts total, Castro would yet again find the back of the net just eight minutes later.

Sophomore Dany Ramirez would cap off the first half scoring barrage with a goal off a penalty kick in the 41st minute.

Both teams' offenses would grow stagnant to start to the second half. However, it wouldn't take long for the Celt's powerful attack to start clicking. After applying constant pressure on the Crusader back line, St. Thomas would be presented with yet another penalty kick. It was here that Castro would complete the hat-trick and extend the score to 5-1.

Defensively, the Celts were stellar, only allowing 13 shots for the entire match. Rodrigo Lazo would pick up the win in goal while recording seven saves in just 70 minutes of play.

St. Thomas will compete in their final match of the regular season, as they take on Austin College on Sunday.
