Regals lose 3-2 in Their First Texas Game

The Regals packed their bags and hopped on a plane that took them to Texas where they faced no. 21 Trinity University this Friday afternoon.

Jalynne Magana started off with a goal for the Regals in the 13th minute with an assist from sophomore center back, Ally Fisicaro. They locked down on defense only allowing Trinity four shots in the first half.

Trinity put one in the back of the net at the end of the first 45 to make it 1-1 heading into the second half.

Magana decided one goal wasn't enough and put another one in the back of the net four minutes into the second half. Senior teammate Aly Legrand set her up for her second goal of the night.

The Regals put up another four shots in the last 45 but couldn't get one to fall in. The Tigers were able to get another two on the purple and gold, leading to their 3-2 win.

The Regals will be in Texas the remainder of the weekend and play Concordia on Sunday at 10 am.
