The Colorado College men's cross country team finished 10
th overall and second among Division III teams Saturday morning at the Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational in Salem, Ore.

The Tigers posted 276 points, just three behind host Willamette, the top Division III team at the meet, which included squads from Division I, II and III.

Junior
Tony Calderon once again led the Tigers individually, finishing 31
st overall with a season-best 8K time of 25:36.2. Fellow junior
Jack Williams was the second-fastest runner for CC on Saturday by finishing 45
th overall with a personal-best time of 25:58.0.

Senior
David Eik finished in 73
rd place with a season-best time of 26:29.1, followed by sophomore
Paul Olsen (81
st) and freshman
Josh Fry (90
th), with each posting a personal-best time of 26.29 and 26:51.5, respectively. Â

Andrew Rafla of Boise State won the individual race and the Broncos took the team title with 37 points.
In addition to the Willamette meet, the Tigers had two runners participate at the New Mexico Highlands Cross Country Jam in Las Vegas, N.M. Junior Adm Mahler finished third with a season-best time of 28:11, while freshman
Saket Mereddy placed 12th in 30:43.

The Tigers will run at the Metro State Roadrunner Invitational next Saturday, Oct. 6 in Denver, Colo.
