California schools prove no match for #14 Southwestern

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Nationally-ranked Southwestern finished up their tour of California with a pair of 3-0 wins over Occidental and Pomona-Pitzer Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Southwestern's stout offense shone against Occidental in the first match of the day including a second set where the Pirates posted a .652 team attack percentage.
  • Occidental never broke the 20 point barrier as Southwestern won 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.
  • Southwestern's dominance continued against Pomona-Pitzer with the Pirates winning 25-16, 25-12, 25-8.
