The Colorado College men's swimming team posted a pair of wins Saturday at a three-way meet in Shreveport, La.
The Tigers defeated Centenary College, 124-72, and Hendrix College, 115-81.
Freshman
Cade Thumann captured a couple of individual wins on Saturday, claiming first place in the 500 freestyle and 1000 freestyle. His brother, Cole, finished second in the 500 free and joined fellow freshman
Reese Gawronski and sophomores
Walker Martin and
Baker Casagrande on the winning 200 freestyle relay team.
Martin also won a couple of individual titles, winning the 100 and 200 freestyle races for the second consecutive day. Junior
Eric Dallesasse won the 100 butterfly on Saturday.
Gawronski finished second in the 100 and 200 freestyle races, while junior
Michael Heinonen was second in the 1000 freestyle.
"This was a much closer meet today, and we are thrilled to be leaving with two more wins," head coach
Anne Goodman James said. "We tried some different combinations with our lineup today, with great results. The men's relays today were the most exciting events of the meet , with us just touching out Centenary in the final event of the competition.

The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday, Nov. 7 against Colorado School of Mines at Schlessman Nataorium, beginning at 5 p.m.
