The Lynx earned their second victory of the year with a 5-0 shut out over the Ladies of Kenyon (0-2).  Kelly Whelan and Jordan Robinson were stellar in goal, recording a total of 11 saves on the day.  Regan McLaughlin struck first for the Lynx with a goal on a penalty corner play which was followed by a second penalty corner score by Libby Jones.  Chelsea McLeod, Kat Simpson, and Mackenzie Holland also added goals while Sarah Ferguson, Libby Jones, and Kat Simpson added assists.  Sam Anscher and Corrinne Palmer played tough on defense and helped with distribution in the midfield which was powered by intelligent sideline play by Taylor Mills.  The Lynx improved in several areas from game one including giving up only 2 penalty corners to the Ladies today compared to 11 to Wooster yesterday.  The Lynx will fly to Virginia next weekend to take on Washington and Lee and Mary Washington at a tournament in Fredericksburg, VA.
