The No. 1-ranked Colorado College volleyball team advanced to the semifinals of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship with a 25-18, 25-20, 25-19 victory over the University of Dallas on Saturday night at Reid Arena.
The top-seeded Tigers will play host to Austin College on Saturday, April 24, at noon. The winner of that match advances to the championship match the weekend of April 30-May 2 at the home of the highest remaining seed.
Senior outside hitter
Allie Freeburg led CC with a season-high 14 kills on 25 attacks with only three errors. Her .440 hitting percentage marked the sixth time this season she hit .400 or better in a match.
Georgia Mullins hit a match-high .588 with 10 kills on an error-free 17 attempts. Mullins, who did not have a hitting error, improved her season hitting percentage to .405, which would be a program single-season record. The junior middle hitter also had a hand in four blocked shots.
Junior outside hitter
Isabella Vasquez posted her sixth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 11 digs.

Rick Swan said. "Bella (Vasquez) and Izzy (Lipacis) were both solid on defense in the back row and hitting on the pins. Belle (Aragon-Menzel) follows the game plan and did a fantastic job running the offense.
The Tigers now have won 45 of 49 sets this season and won 13 of 15 matches in straight sets.
CC never trailed during the first set, however the Crusaders were within two points at 18-16 after an attack error by the Tigers. Freeburg produced four kills as Colorado College closed out the first set on a 7-2 run.
The Tigers led by seven points early in the second set, and after UD pulled to within 16-12, CC stretched is advantage to as many as eight and held off a late Crusader rally to go up two sets.
Dallas held a pair of one-point leads early in the third set, but Mullins had six kills on seven swings and Vasquez added four more to help the Tigers improve to 23-0 against Dallas since joining the SCAC in 2007.
"Tonight was a great win," Swan said. "We expected Dallas to give us everything they had and I am very proud of our team and the way they controlled the match from the first set. We talked about setting the tone in each set and I thought we did a great job of doing that. we look forward to playing in the semifinals next weekend."
Colorado College Standouts
Isabelle Aragon-Menzel finished with 36 assists, 10 digs and four kills.
Isabella Lipacis had 16 digs, six kills and a pair of blocked shots.
University of Dallas Standouts
Ellise Anable led the Crusaders with 10 kills.
Moriah Delgado had a match-high 19 digs.
Notes
Colorado College improved to 15-0.
The University of Dallas finished its season with a 3-12 record.
The Tigers improved to 26-9 all-time in SCAC Tournament matches.
