Box Score Tyler Huffman and Andrew Musler combined for 14 points during the final 7:22 as Clark University rallied for a 71-64 victory over Colorado College in the 2014 D3Hoops.com Classic on Sunday night at South Point Arena in Las Vegas.

Twelve seconds after junior forward Tyler Jonas gave the Tigers a 54-46 lead, Huffman drained his fourth three-pointer to ignite a 25-10 run.

The Cougars took their first lead since early in the first half on a pair of Musler free throws, and Clark sealed the victory by sinking seven of eight shots from the charity stripe during the final 51 seconds.

CC trailed by just four points after freshman forward Andrew Maddock scored with 2:07 to play, but following a jumper by Huffman, the Tigers turned the ball over on their next two possessions.   

Junior winger Luke Winfield scored 18 points to lead Colorado College. Senior forward Chris Lesnansky finished with 14 points, while Jonas and senior guard Ryan Kell added 12 and 11, respectively.

After Huffman knotted the score at 17-17 with his second trey with 7:25 remaining in the first half, the Tigers used a 13-5 run to open an eight-point lead for the first time.

Huffman sank a pair of free throws with 31 second to go, but Winfield knocked down a jumper with three ticks to play to out CC up 32-24 after 20 minutes.

The Cougars opened the second half with a 12-6 run to pull to within 38-36 when Nick Daprato connected from behind the arc, but Colorado College answered with a 16-10 surge to build an eight-point lead for the final time.

Clark mad eight of 28 attempts from behind the arc, but the Tigers were more effective making six of 16 long-range shots.

Huffman and Daprato finished with 19 points apiece. Musler recorded 12 points and seven rebounds, while Lucas Lalima dished out eight assists.  

Colorado College (4-5) returns to action on Tuesday at 4 p.m. against Willamette University.
