IRVING, Texas - Thursday night's stormy weather has spoiled the Crusaders weekend plans.
The blustery winds ripped the field tarp from its moorings, leaving the field completely open to the torrential downpour. The Crusaders were originally scheduled to host Dallas Christian on Sunday, but both teams have determined the field will not be playable in that time frame.
The double-header has been officially rescheduled for Tuesday, March 7, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Though crosstown rivals, the Dallas Christian softball program is in its infancy and the two sides have never met on the diamond.
