Men's Tennis Drops Home Opener

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's tennis team ran into a solid Schreiner University squad dropping the match 7-2 Friday afternoon.

In the Eagles home spring opener, Schreiner picked up a 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles and a 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles. The Eagles did take a 9-7 victory at the No. 2 position with Cole Lankford and Jonah Martinez topping Andrew Albright and Joshua Newman. At No. 1 singles, Melle Van Duijn was narrowly defeated by  Luis Cabreja a  6-7, 6-4, 6-2. Schreiner also posted wins at No. 2, No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6. Spencer Turner picked up a 7-6, 1-6, 10-3 over Roger Santos at No. 4 singles.
