Baseball secured their second sweep of the season taking down Belhaven in game three. Cameron McClure and Erik Garza went yard to secure the 9-3 victory. 

After two scoreless innings to open up the game, it was St. Thomas who was first to get on the board. In the third inning, Kyle Bearden made his presence known with a huge three-RBI double that made the score 3-0. The Celts weren't done yet, as Jeffrey Williams brought Bearden home and made the score 4-0. Then, St. Thomas added to their lead with a Cameron McClure solo shot in the fifth inning as Belhaven looked out of the game down 5-0. Each team would add one run in the sixth, but St. Thomas got some insurance with a three-run seventh inning powered by an Erik Garza home run. From there, Belhaven tried to spark a rally with a two-run home run, but any comeback was halted by stellar Celt pitching preventing further damage. 

Kadin Munson got the start on the mound and threw seven innings of one-run baseball. The freshman allowed just three hits and notched four strikeouts. Nick Alumai came in relief and pitched a scoreless ninth inning to close the game with two strikeouts to help lock in the series sweep.
