Mueller-Hickler posted a 5K time of 18:13, placing seventh in a Division 2 competition field at the UCCS Rust Buster which was held at 6,109 feet above sea level. Saturday's time places Mueller-Hickler fifth on Colorado College's all-time cross country 5K list.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Maryn Trianni of Concordia (Texas), in just the second collegiate race of her young career, excelled at the UT-Tyler Cross Country Open with a finish of 28:23.63 - topping her PR from last week by 28 seconds.
