KENDALL ACCETTA OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from Portland, Ore., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17. SCAC Cross Country Release (Week 3)
Accetta placed 16th with a time of 22:55.30 over the 6K course, leading the Tiger contingent, at the 2022 Roadrunners Invitational in Denver, Colo. The race took place at 5,300 feet above sea level.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Gianna Keena of Trinity competed in her first collegiate 6K over the weekend, pacing the Tiger women's team a perfect score of 15 en route to a victory at the Southwestern Showdown on Saturday morning. Keena earned her first collegiate win on a technically-challenging course on a day that also featured hot and muggy weather conditions at race time in Georgetown, Texas.
