MADDIE MURPHY
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Friendswood,
Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country
Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, October 6.
Murphy led Trinity’s women’s cross country team to a
victory at the Hanover Pre-Nationals Meet on Saturday afternoon.
Murphy finished fourth in a time of 22:24.39 in the 6K race,
leading the ninth-ranked Tigers to 44 points and the win among a
field of 18 total teams.
