WIDEFIELD, Colo. - In a announcement made at Saturday's championship meet, Colorado College's Alexia Preston was named the 2019 SCAC Women's Cross Country Elite 19 award winner.
The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours at his or her current institution and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season.
Preston, a junior psychology major from Auckland, New Zealand, currently holds a 3.933 GPA and took All-SCAC honors with her fifth-place finish at Saturday's championship meet.
