Trinity Women Place 16th at Division III Championship Meet

ELSAH, Ill. - Led by SCAC Cross Country Coach of the Year, Emily Daum, the Trinity women captured a 16th-place finish Saturday at the NCAA Division III Championship Meet in Elsah, Ill. Complete Results

The highest the Tigers have ever scored as a team was sixth at the 2008 meet and the DePauw University women were seventh in 2007. 

Having a stand-out year for the Tigers, junior Molly McCullough, finished in 38th place and earned the All American honor. She was the only Tiger this season to earn that title. She finished the 6K race in 21:37.10.

Coming up second for the Tigers was sophomore Laura Taylor who finished in 57th place with her time of 21:53.50. Taylor was the individual title winner at this seasons SCAC Cross Country Championship.

Senior Haley McFadden was just behind Taylor. She finished in 21:58.60 and took home 67th-place.

In their first trip to nationals, sophomore Brianna Ratliff and senior Melissa Whitman were fourth and sixth on the team, respectively. First-year Jordan Juran rounded out Trinity's top seven at the event.
