KERRVILLE, Texas -- The Schreiner University Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeremiah Tiffin as Schreiner Volleyball's new Head Coach.

Coach Tiffin will be coming to Schreiner University from the University of North Dakota where he spent the last two years as Head Coach of their Volleyball program. During his time with the Fighting Hawks of the University of North Dakota, Tiffin secured 16 wins, won two AVCA/USMC Team Academic Awards, and had 14 student-athletes earn Summit League Academic Honor Roll accolades

Before his stay at the University of North Dakota, Coach Tiffin spent four seasons as the Head Coach at Our Lady of the Lake University (2015-18), claiming Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) titles in each of his four seasons. The Saints won at least 20 matches three times and advanced to the NAIA Championship in a trio of campaigns. Tiffin also mentored four NAIA All-Americans, 15 AVCA All-Region selections, 34 all-conference athletes and the program's first player to reach 1,000 kills. The 2017 OLLU team was the first in the Saints history to advance to Pool Play at the NAIA National Championship. Tiffin's program also succeeded in the classroom, earning the NAIA Scholar Team Award three times.

Jeremiah Tiffin will now begin his new chapter at Schreiner University with an overall head coaching record of 153-126 and a resume consisting of three NAIA Championship appearances, two AVCA South Central Region Coach of the Year Awards, three RRAC Coach of the Year Awards, and Four Conference Championships.

"We are excited to have Coach Tiffin join our staff. He comes to Schreiner with a wealth of collegiate volleyball experience and a track record of success. Our volleyball program has improved over the last few years and I feel that Coach Tiffin is the right coach to take us to a new level of competive success in the SCAC." - Bill Raleigh, Director of Athletics

Tiffin earned his bachelors' and masters' degrees from Baylor University. Tiffin and his wife, Rachel, have two sons, Isaac and Daniel.

"My family and I are overjoyed to become part of the Schreiner family. It was apparent during my visit that the Schreiner community is a place where student-athletes can thrive and be a part of something greater than themselves. My wife Rachel and I would sincerely like to thank Bill Raleigh, Charlie McCormick, Travis Frampton and Charlie Hueber for their confidence in me. They all have tremendous support for the volleyball program and, like me, are excited to share in the success we will have on and off the court." - Jeremiah Tiffin
