LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Week three of the 2019 season saw nine teams in action, highlighted by St. Thomas and Centenary squaring off for the first conference match of the season.

Centenary (3-7) claimed its first conference victory over St. Thomas (3-2), on Saturday in the Ladies only game of the week.

No.7 CC (9-2) hosted the Pikes Peak Challenge over the weekend, splitting matches on Friday, falling to Transylvania (3-2) then taking down Birmingham-Southern (3-0). The Tigers closed out the tournament finishing second in the tournament, after defeating Whitworth (0-3) on Saturday. Sophomore middle hitter Georgia Mullins was voted to the All-Tournament team along with junior outside hitter Allie Freeburg after finished with a .765 hitting percentage and a match-high 14 kills. 

No.11 Trinity (8-3) went 2-1 against tough competition at the East to West Tournament over the weekend in St. Louis, MO. The Tigers picked up a pair of 3-1 wins over No.6 Juniata and Cal Lutheran on Friday, falling to Wash U (2-3) on Saturday. 

TLU went 3-1 last week falling to Our Lady of Lake (1-3) on Tuesday before posting a perfect record at the Hendrix Invitational over the weekend. The Bulldogs defeated Howard Payne (3-0), Huntington (3-1), and Rhodes (3-1) as the Bulldogs have won three of their last four matches.  

Dallas (5-6) hosted Schreiner (3-6) and a number of other non-conference schools for its Home Invitational over the weekend. The Crusaders went 2-1 with wins over over McMurry (0-3) and Alfred (0-3), while Schreiner went 1-2 with a 3-0 win over Alfred. 

Austin College posted a 2-3 record last week, that included a mid-week win over Jarvis Christian (3-0) on Tuesday and a trip to the Pacific Northwest Invitational over the weekend. The Roos' played four matches over the two days with a win over Mills (3-0), falling to George Fox (1-3), Lewis & Clark (1-3), and Pacific (1-3). 

In its only match of the week, Southwestern (5-4) took down Concordia 3-1. JWU was idle, but will return to play in its first conference match of the season against Texas Lutheran on Friday.
