LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Each of the nine SCAC women's volleyball programs opened up their 2018 campaigns this weekend.

No. 3 Colorado College swept the weekend series dropping just one set in four matches. 

No. 11 Trinity also cleaned house, winning all four of its games over the weekend. 

Austin College fell to Hendrix in five sets to start the weekend. However, the Roos bounced back to win the remaing three matches. 

No. 9 Southwestern took tough losses against La Verne, Carthage and No. 1 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The Pirates found their rhythm against Occidental were they took the match in three straight sets. 

Texas Lutheran University started the weekend off strong after battling back from a 2-0 deficeit against Wisconson-Superior winning, 3-2. The Bulldogs finished the weekend 1-1 overall. 

University of Dallas ended the weekend with a record of 1-2 while Schreiner University went 1-3.

The 2018 portion of the conference volleyball season opens up Tuesday night, as Trinity visits Schreiner.
