Southwestern's Campos Recognized as SCAC Women's Volleyball Elite 19 Honoree

IRVING, Texas -- In a announcement made at Saturday's conference championship tournament, Southwestern University's Brandi Campos was named the 2018 SCAC Women's Volleyball Elite 19 award winner.

Campos, a senior libero and defensive specialist, currently holds a cumulative GPA of 3.761 and was recognized as Second Team All-SCAC in an announcement made earlier this week. She was the league's Backrow Player-of-the-Year in 2017.

The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season. A student-athlete will be honored annually from each of the league's 19 conference-sponsored sports and will be recognized at the site at that year's conference championship event.

This is the inaugural year of the SCAC Elite 19 award.
