INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division III
Women's Volleyball Committee announced today the selection of the
eight sites for the regional round of the 2008 Division III Women's
Volleyball Championship and Trinity University was named one of
those eight host sites.
The regional competition will be held November 13-15. The sites
are:
Juniata College - Huntingdon, Pennsylvania
University of La Verne - La Verne, California
New York University - New York, New York
University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) - St. Paul, Minnesota
Trinity University (Texas) - San Antonio, Texas
Tufts University - Medford, Massachusetts
University of Wisconson-Oshkosh - Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Wittenberg University - Springfield, Ohio
The 61 teams selected for the championship will be announced
Monday, November 10. The berths will be allocated as follows: Pool
A - 38; Pool B - 4; and Pool C - 19.
The championship finals will be held November 20-22 at the Shirk
Center in Bloomington, Illinois and will be hosted by Illinois
Wesleyan University.
