
ELLIOT SINGER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from San Francisco, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 3 through Sunday, April 9. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 6
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore CC Gray of Trinity ran a new personal best of 26.03 in the 200. This ranks her second in the SCAC and came off a short recovery from the 400 where she ran a 59.74. Gray then went on to run second leg of the fourth place 4x400 team (4:03). First-year Miranda Roach of Dallas, who had never competed in track before this year, ran a PR of 2:56.17 in the 800 meters at the UNT Classic. Her PR was nine seconds faster than her original mark. Sophomore Kaela Sawyers of St. Thomas ran a 26.10 in the 200m this past weekend to set a outdoor season best and snag the fourth-best time in the conference this season.
