TIA HART OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Vanderbilt, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 1 through Sunday, March 7.
Hart notched two second place overall finishes in her throwing events at the Trinity Invitational. In the shot put, she threw 37-10 1/2 to move her to the top of the Division III list in that event. In the javelin, she tossed 117-10 which currently ranks seventh in Division III.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Jordyn White of Trinity took second in the long jumps at the Trinity Invitational with a new personal best of 5.45m. This ranks her third all time in Trinity history.
