LILLY DUARTE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior runner from Streetman, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Track Co-Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted through Sunday, February 24.
Competing at the Trinity University Open, Duarte placed second in the 1,500 with a time of 4:55.68, which was just three seconds shy of her personal best in the event. She also placed eighth in the 800 and anchored the Pirates’ 4 x 400 meter relay.
