Trinity's Ayriel Coleman Earns All-American Finish in Triple Jump

GENEVA, Ohio -- Ayriel Coleman of Trinity University highlighted the final day of NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field Championship action with an All-American finish in the triple jump.

Coleman was a seventh-place finisher in the women's triple jump, turning in a school-record mark of 11.98 meters.

Coleman became Trinity's first women's track & field student-athlete to earn All-America honors as a first-year competitor.  She was seeded 14th in the triple jump entering the meet.

Britney Sullivan also competed in the triple jump, marking her third consecutive NCAA Championships event. She finished 12th in this year's meet with a mark of 11.75 meters.

Sullivan was 10th at last year's nationals and 19th in 2015.  She finished 14th at the Indoor Championships earlier this season, and was 13th at 2016 Indoors.
