
ELODIE RICHARD OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Allen, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 4 to Sunday, April 10. (SCAC Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 10)
Richard reached the 20th singles victory of her career in a weekend that featured her line-one debut, a three-set victory to maintain a shutout SCAC win for the Tigers over Austin College.
Richard reached career win No. 20 with a straight-sets victory over Megan Zeng of No. 29 UT-Dallas on Sunday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Nina Mitrofanova of Southwestern posted a 2-0 record at No. 1 singles, contributing wins over TLU’s Elena Brancaleon and St. Thomas’s Anamaria Gonzalez in two conference victories for the Pirates.
