LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The season is beginning to wind down for women's tennis teams in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, but all six teams took to the court last week.
Southwestern University moved to 11-4 after last week, and extended its winning streak to six matches with wins over Hardin-Simmons University, Schreiner University and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Pirates blanked all three opponents for a trio of perfect 9-0 victories.
Austin College and Trinity University each picked up one win last week. The 'Roos defeated Texas Lutheran University 9-0, while Trinity took down the University of Texas - Dallas, 6-3.
