Women's Tennis Recap - Week Six

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Heavy rains and flooding in Texas and Louisiana made it tough to get in matches, but four tennis teams were able to compete this week.

The Colorado College Tigers continued their success this weekend, earning three wins to extend their winning streak to five matches. They dominated the competition in Orlando, defeating Haverford College, Juniata College and Illinois Wesleyan by 9-0 scores.

Southwestern University only got one of their two scheduled matches in, defeating Rhodes College 8-1 at home.

The Texas Lutheran women had a busy week, playing in four matches and going 2-2. The Bulldogs earned wins over Rhodes and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Trinity University defeated Mary Hardin-Baylor as well, and added on a win over East Texas Baptist.
