Mabel Fowler of Trinity University, a sophomore from Uvalde, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for her performance during the week spanning Novmber 5th through November 11th.
Fowler completed the 500 free in the second fastest time this season, finishing in 5:04.78. The sophomore also posted impressive marks in the 200 free touching in 1:55.63.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
At a tri-meet with Ouachita Baptist and Rhodes, freshman Jesse Stovall of Southwestern earned wins in the 50 free (24.97) and 100 free (53.63) while, against Centenary on Saturday, Stovall also swam to victory in the 50 fly (26.37) and 100 fly (59.81). Freshman Chloe Hunt of Austin College won the 100 free in 56.93 against University of the Ozarks. For Centenary freshman Brianna Serret won the 100 back in 1:02.97
