Selma Jukic of Colorado College, a junior from Skokie, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for her performance during the week spanning October 16th through October 21st.
Jukic mounted six top-five performances in two meets over the weekend. The junior won the 100 freestyle on both occasions as well as the the 200 individual medley in the tri-meet with Centenary and Hendrix. Jukic also anchored the first-place finishing 400 medley relay on Friday against Centenary.
Other Outstanding Performances:
At the Little Rock Invite freshman Paige Vire led the University of the Ozarks and posted top-10 performances in the 100 and 200 breast. Freshman Chloe Hunt of Austin College earned victories in the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle as well as in the 200 freestyle relay at the dual meet between the Roos’ and McMurry. Centenary freshman Brianna Serret came out victorious in the 200 backstroke on Friday as well as the 100 backstroke on Saturday in addition to team vitories in the 200 and 400m freestyle relays in weekend
