ROBYN REMSCHEL OF MCMURRY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Fredericksburg, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, October 29th.
Remschel swam in two meets at Hendrix College over the weekend.
On Friday at the Hendrix Relays, Remschel and her teammates finished first in the 300 Back Relay (1:00.19 split), first in the 400 Medley Relay (1:00.08), and second in the 200 Free Relay (26.06).
Saturday at the Hendrix Classic Invite, Remschel took first in the 50 Free with a time of 26.35 seconds and the 200 Back with a time of 2:10.74. Her 400 Free Relay placed second overall to finish off her two days of racing.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Elizabeth Nelson of Trinity University swam Saturday's 50 free in a time of 25.78 against Division I Incarnate Word, and also had a 24.93 split time in the 200 free relay to anchor Trinity's second-place finish in the race.
