LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Four SCAC women's teams were in competition this weekend, highlighted by an intra-squad match-up between Austin College and University of the Ozarks as well as Trinity taking on nationally-ranked MIT.

On Friday, Centenary hosted Millsaps and earned the 87-62 dual meet win. Sarah Harrison led the way for the Ladies, picking up victories in both the 100 free (1:00.53) and the 100 breast (1:13.82). Other individual winners for Centenary included Jojo Goodman in the 200 free (2:15.38), Isabella Brown in the 50 free (27.14), Brianna Serret in the 100 fly (1:00.50), Margot Frost in the 500 free (5:55.03) and Kaylin Swoboda in the 100 back (1:07.10). The 200 medley relay team of Frost, Swoboda, Serret and Harrison took first place to lead off the meet with a winning time of 1:59.97.

The Austin College women defeated University of the Ozarks, 122-64, in a dual meet at Ozarks on Saturday. The team of Chloe Hunt, Jade Kemp, Zuni Rubio, and Jennifer Liang took first in the meet-opening 200 medley relay with a time of 2:04.16. Liberty Chanin followed up with a win in the 1650 free with a time of 18:42.27, finishing more than 30 seconds ahead of the second place performer. Becca Tobias picked up victories in the 100 fly, 200 IM and 100 breast, and Hunt added wins in the 100 back and 200 free.

The Eagles set two program records in the dual against Austin College and had three first place finishes. Rosie Wade set a new record in the 500 free with a time of 5:28.78. The 200 free relay team (Catherine Wellborn, Skylar Frazier, Emily Spillers and Wade) also set a new program record swimming a 1:49.73. Wellborn won both the 50 free (27.72) and the 100 free (1:00.02).

The Trinity women beat Springfield 177-120 and fell 202-94 to ninth-ranked MIT. Morgen Reyna was a two-time winner, taking the women's 200 free in 1:57.57 and the 100 fly in 59.46 seconds. Mabel Fowler captured the 500 free, outdistancing the MIT swimmer by 10 seconds, touching the pad in 5:08.22. She also was runner-up in the 100 back, posting a mark of 58.84 seconds, just .12 seconds behind the MIT swimmer.

The 200 free relay went to the quartet of Fowler, Reyna, Star Rosales, and Elizabeth Nelson, and won the event in 1:39.49.

The schedule continues next week with three of the league's seven teams in action, with McMurry and Colorado College traveling to Austin College for a tri-meet on Saturday.
