The CC women took third in the night's first event, the 200 medley relay - posting a time of 1:51.28. The Southwestern team of Ashley Harmon, Rehgan Hartsell, Jesse Stovall and Cara Chin took home the gold - touching in a time of 1:46.02 which was the second-fastest finish in the history of the event. The win also marked the second consecutive year the Pirate women have won the event. Trinity was second in a time of 1:47.59. Video
Trinity's women broke the first SCAC record of the meet in the 800 free relay, taking first place in a blistering 7:38.43 - almost 20 seconds faster than the second place Colorado College squad. The TU Tigers squad of Morgen Reyna, Abbie Jones, Meghan Magill and Mabel Fowler bettered the mark of 7:38.81 set by Trinity in last year's meet.
