Trinity Relay Team Highlights Day Two of NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

INDIANAPOLIS - Student-athletes from both Trinity University and Southwestern University competed on day two of the 2018 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships.

Southwestern was represented by Rehgan Hartsell in the women's 100 fly, while Trinity's relay team competed, along with one diver.

The Tigers' quartet of Star Rosales, Lauren Cuda, Abbie Jones and Lindsay Hagmann posted a time of 1:35.09 in the morning session, just .06 seconds short of the SCAC open record, placing 13th in prelims. Coming back for the consolation heat in the evening, the Tigers took 12th place and were able to crack the conference record, finishing in a time of 1:34.81.

Trinity diver Christine Peterson competed in the women's 1-meter championship and finished in 26th with a score of 361.50.

Hartsell competed in the women's 100 butterfly, improving her season-best time by four seconds (59.50) to finish in 41st place during the morning session.
