LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The only SCAC team in action this week, the University of the Ozarks women's swim team hosted Henderson State University in its final home meet of the 2016-2017 season.
Henderson State earned a 141-56 victory over the Ozarks women. Chloe Welsh, who was honored Saturday as part of "Senior Day," finished second in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 46:57. Arielle Burfine placed second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:09.34. Burfine would finish third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 30.45. Welsh placed third in the 100-yard IM with a time of 1:40.32.
Ozarks, along with the other six conference squads, will compete in the SCAC championships, February 8-11 in Lewisville, Texas.
